I’m transitioning to a new job at the end of the month, which I’m excited about. I’m reading “Making Embedded Systems” by Elecia White to prepare, which has been excellent so far. I’m learning to limit my scope. I used to just grab any and all materials related to a subject I was interested in, but now I’m realizing that 1-2 books carefully selected and studied will probably lead to better outcomes.
I want to design a 3D printable, easily-cleanable, upside-down suet feeder that has a compartment for a solar panel + a camera that automatically logs birds in my area through the eBird API, so maybe there’s an opportunity in there for me to use Go and create a little web-server dashboard so I can view recent photos captured of any visitors I get.
It doesn’t have to be an upside-down suet feeder but I want to deter house sparrows.
My boyfriend and I went to Wells Beach and saw this pair of piping plovers! Here’s my favorite photo of one of them.
I also found a way to cover the scratch on my scooter whilst demonstrating my newfound love for plovers
